After my bachelor's in International Business and Management, I moved to Australia to be with my partner and build a new life. What I underestimated was how much had to be sorted out in practice: from visas and taxes to Medicare — all new, and all in English.
Pretty soon my partner and I started our own painting business, which has been running for three years now with a strong network and steady work. That mix of study and hands-on experience showed me first-hand what it really takes to build a life abroad.
